"This campaign is not about a title — it is about people, dignity, and building a stronger Prince George's County for generations to come."— Kayla D. Bryant
Meet Kayla D. Bryant
Born and raised in Prince George's County, I am a proud product of this community and a passionate advocate for the people who call it home. Prince George's County is not just where I live, it is where I was shaped, where my values were formed, and where my heart for service began.
From 2022 to 2023, I had the privilege of working directly in the Prince George's County Register of Wills Office. That experience changed my life. I witnessed firsthand how families navigate some of the most difficult moments they will ever face, losing loved ones, managing estates, and trying to understand a legal system that often feels overwhelming.
It was there that my passion for estate planning and estate administration was born. The work mattered. The people mattered. And the impact mattered.
Since then, I have continued working in estate administration and legal support roles under experienced attorneys at multiple firms, deepening my knowledge and strengthening my commitment to this field. I am currently in law school and nearing the completion of my legal education, preparing to bring both practical experience and legal training back to the community that raised me.
While I am a young candidate, I am also a fresh face with new ideas, modern energy, and a deep respect for the office and its mission. I believe the Register of Wills should be a well-oiled machine that runs efficiently, transparently, and compassionately.
Education is at the heart of my vision. Too many families do not know who the Register of Wills is, what the office does, or where to turn after losing a loved one. I am committed to changing that through community outreach, clear communication, and resources that meet people where they are.
Above all, my heart is in this work. I was raised in the church and lead with faith, integrity, compassion, and service. Those values guide every decision I make and every product I create. This campaign is not about a title, it is about people, dignity, and building a stronger Prince George's County for generations to come.
The Register of Wills has had my heart ever since I walked through its doors, and I am ready to serve this community with dedication, knowledge, and purpose.
